I am getting married in St. Thomas and am from Louisiana and most recently lived in Florida for 5 years. As I am researching charters for fishing... I see they only give you a small portion of your fish!! I have never heard of such a thing. I've been on several charters back home and you always take home what you catch...whether it is one fish or 10 fish! Any input on someone we can fish with who won't go take the fish we paid to catch to market? I want to keep the fish I catch...dammit 🙂 Thanks for any recommendations in advance.-Sarah

I can't speak for all of the fishing charter operations but, for instance, Double Header out of Sapphire allows up to 20lb (filleted by the Captain) per charter or you can pay the commercial charter rate and keep the whole catch. 20 lbs is a LOT of fish for max 6 people.
