Hi, Saw the answer to Tom on fishing on St Thomas, like him a buddy and I are planning on visiting in February and are looking to do a lot of fishing. I have my own 29 foot Mako that I fish off shore from along the Mississippi Gulf Coast so I am wondering if there are places to rent boats without a captain. Also where can I go to fish when fishing from the shore. Someone tell me their secret places to fish! LOL

Waterguy,
Great suggestion on DOUBLE HEADER! BUT, he can't take his boat there as it is not HERE!!!! lol!

Double Header uses live bait and are well known for always bringing in the fish. To answer your question, there are boats that you can rent with out a Capt.. I believe Nauti nymph does this, 340-775-5066 and Waters Edge (not sure) 340-771-7356. This should get you started!

That's why he was asking where to rent a boat. Lol!

Good tip on bringing the GPS though. Another option would be to rent a boat with a fish finder. It's going to be more work that way, but take your time. You're on vacation anyway.
