Experts,
Please advise regarding airport transfers. Who does one contact for airport shuttles or should you just trust getting to your destination by taxi?
Thanks for all suggestions
Hello Ingrid,
There aren't any airport shuttles as you find at major airports in the states. (I think that's what you mean.)
If you aren't renting a car your only option is to take a taxi.
The taxi stand is just outside the baggage claim area. There are taxi vans lined up and a dispatcher is there to direct you to a taxi that is heading your direction. The taxi drivers fill their vans with people going the same way, so it is possiable that you might spot at a couple hotels before yours to let off other visitors. If you want a private taxi that is possible but you will pay more than the per person fare in a shared taxi. You can find rates under Taxi Rates in our drop down menu for St. Thomas - scroll to the top of this page and click on St. Thomas and then choose Taxi Rates.
