What about airfare in regards to direct flights and or rates for airfare to St. Croix under $600.00...per person?

Don't know where you're flyin' from but, my wife and I are flyin' out of Philadelphia in March to STX and we're paying $550 per person Round Trip (includes taxes). That's on American Airlines, which I find usually has the lowest rates. Also, it's not non-stop (there are none from PHL), there is 1 stop in San Juan.

My roundtrip tickets flying out of Houston Jan 31 on American are just over $700 for a one-stop (Miami) ticket. This is about $180 per ticket higher than I paid last April. I don't know if it's the fuel prices being high or the difference in flying high and low season. I kept waiting for them to go down and finally jumped on them. The same ticket is about $75 higher right now. Flights out of Houston always seem considerably higher compared to Central or Northeastern US rates.
