I just booked our 10 day vacation for June at Chenay Bay and now will be looking for airfare. For our prior trips to STJ (havent been to STX in 20 yrs) I found decent fares at American Airlines for $300-$400+ in the past. Will I be so lucky to find anything like that for STX. I am able to fly out of Phila, Newark, BWI.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

I booked on American out of Philly for $458.50. Leaving June 20th. Great connections, leave at 7:20, arrive in STX before 13:00. Yesterday the fare went DOWN about $15.00. Return Flight leaves just after 15:00 and gets into Philly about 21:30. I had been looking for a deal for well over a month and this was the best I found. I did take into account the connections, which I felt were worth a few extra $. I think the problem on some flights into STX is that the connecting flight out of San Juan is on a much smaller plane than what goes into San Juan. You should probaly act soon so that you get the coonections you want before the small plane fills up
You might find good rates if you book on Jet Blue into San Juan and then take an American Eagle or Cape Air hop to STX.
