Visiting STJ next week. Anyone have any advice on Garden by the Sea? Plan 3-4 days there and the rest at Maho Bay. Maho Bay has lots of options. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone know anything about Samuel's Cottages or Botanical Villas. Both on STJ.

We stayed at Samuels Cottage three times, I can highly recommend it to anyone, especially on moderate budget. Clean, comfortable and close to everything!

Bobrem,
I haven't stayed there but my wife and I have reservations for the first week in March. I emailed with a couple that stayed there a few of months ago and they said it is exactly like the photos. They told me that it totally exceeded their expectations and they loved it. They said the breakfasts are awesome. The owners just took over last summer and have made some very positive changes. A lot of the reviews are over a year old and with new owners and some good changes, they seem to be outdated. Maybe I'm just being hopeful, but I really think it'll be just what we're looking for. I'd love to hear what you have to say about it when you return. Hope your stay in paradise is great!
