Hi everyone,

This will be our first trip to the Virgin Islands. My fiance and I are leaving next Monday to spend our honeymoon on St. John. We are splitting the trip up between staying in Cruz Bay half the time and Coral Bay the other half. Do you have any advice for things us honeymooners should do while we are there? Best restaurants or other "must have" experiences??

This is some of what we were thinking of:
Day Sail to BVI(which place is best to go to and what's best to see there?)
Trunk Bay of course
Parasailing
Honeymoon Beach
Couples Massage

I would love to hear your input! 🙂 Thanks in advance!

Lindsay

Congrats!

My husband proposed to me on Cinnamon Bay, so I would check out Cinnamon Bay.

Also do a day trip to Virgin Gorda.

Rent a Dingy.

Best wishes!

For a casual lunch while in Coral Bay, you can't beat a cheeseburger at Skinny Legs.

Sunset at Trunk or Maho. Maho is the best actual sunset. Trunk tucks the sun behind the hills but still a spectacular experience. Bring the mosquito lotion, a bottle of champagne and a flashlight. Stay in the water to enjoy the view and avoid the bugs. Both beaches allow for an easy walk back to your car in the dark.

Congrats!!!!
Couldn't think of a better place for a honeymoon.
O.K. here's my list of thing you can do.
First, a beautiful sunset dinner at Asolare. Most incredible food I've ever had and the sunset from this restaurant is amazing. Reservations are required.
Second, exursion. Day sail to BVI, Calypso. Their website is www.calypsovi.com Continental Breakfast (yummy), open bar (try the painkiller) snorkel stop, lunch at Foxy's, then they stop at White Bay Beach for a few hours of drinking, beach and fun. Take a walk down the beach and stop at Ivan's. When you call, tell Sheree that Fran from Michigan referred you. Also, if you take the full day sail, the Captain's name is Craig. You will have a great time with him and his crew. Tell him I sent you! 🙂
Calypso also offers another BVI trip on their new power catamaran called "Bad Kitty". You have to try this one. Their website will tell you everything. They also rent dinghies for half and full day. I would definetly book the full day. This would be perfect for the two of you to enjoy some quiet, alone time together and still be on the water. You can cruise the entire North Shore. Too many beaches to name.

While on the Coral Bay side, I have to suggest brunch at Miss Lucy's. Great food, wonderful atmosphere and a fantastic view.

Hope this helps. Have a great time and congrats again!!!!!

Gee....I never considered leaving my bedroom on my honeymoon! What a concept!

Oh, here's something that would be a hoot...go over to STT for a day and do the BOSS tour! Then you can get a T-shirt that says "I went down on the BOSS while I was on my Honeymoon!" Haha! www.bossusvi.com

linZ- Not sure if you'll get this on time, but Maho Bay is a MUST SEE, Zo-Zos restaurant has the best sunsets, Rhumb Lines has a swanky hideaway-type feel, with great food & ambiance, and for a daysail, we use Motoryacht Cinnamon Bay. Wonderful people run the charter, and we just got back yesterday, and all agree it was the highlight of the trip. Their address is www.motoryachtcinnamonbay , and if you choose them, can you give them a "Thanks again!" from Jimmy and Amy? You'll have a wonderful time. Remember to bring sunscreen/block, bug repellent, and post bugbite cream, -I was fine, but the Misses was eaten alive. Congrats, and good luck!!!
