What is your price range per night?

On a low budget you could check out the Maho or Cinnamon camp grounds.

I have a vacation rental which starts at $100/night. Email me with questions.

Hello Edie,

On St. John you might try http://www.serendipstjohn.com/
they have studios for around $130 a night. Not sure what your budget is.

hey islander!
thanks for your response.i am new to this message board thing but from the looks of it you are an expert on the island.i found a place called SWEET PLANTAINS and their prices start at $55 a night.and that is even in the on season.now thats my kind of price!LOL.do you know anything about this place?i see that it is a small room and that i think i have to share a bathroom with one other room but that would be ok.i dont plan on spending much time in my room so the size doesnt really matter.i was also told by someone that i may be able to find a resident of the island who rents a room or has some kind or a guest house for rent.if you can tell me anything that would be great.you can reply to this or you can email me at [email protected] so much.Edie

I am amazed that you found anything on St. John for this price. Actually, I think I've seen this place (it had a different name) Does anyone know if this is this building close to/next to Island Blues? If so, it is definitely basic, but in a pretty good location.

Way to go!!

Hello,

I have not heard of it. I do know the building next to Island Blues that Linda mentioned so if that is in fact where it is located then the name must have changed. And I would agree with Linda's description and add that there are few good places to eat in walking distance. You might want a car if you want to explore beaches around the island.

Do you have a description of where this place is located maybe that will help us figure out if we are talking about the same place.

I don't think this is the same place as next to Island Blues.
