Hey everyone, I think we have a problem here! My husband and I are vacationing on St John the end of march. We sort of rushed into this trip without a lot of research. That was our first mistake! We have our flight to ST.Thomas, but we still don't have a place to stay. I know we waited to long, and that we should have checked everything out first, but we didn't. Lesson learned! So, with that said, does anyone have any ideas about finding a place to stay. We really don't need kitchen, a clean room w/private bath would be perfect. I know this is asking a lot , but it would be great to be on the beach, or at least a view. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks, susan

Have you been checking and found places to be sold out? How is your budget?
we've traveled to st john on the last minute a few times. we checked out last minute availability for various rental agencies and have always been able to get something. you might be surprised/thrilled to do so too !! check these websites for info, see what they have open for the dates you need and call them ASAP to make sure it is still available, then book it !! www.caribbeanvilla.com -- www.destinationstjohn.com -- www.suitestjohn.com, we've had some wonderfull villas and condo rented from these companies !! good luck !!

Also, if you just need a simple space to crash while you're not at the beach/out and about, I bet the St. John Inn and The Inn at Tamarind Court will have vacancies. Be prepared for accommodations that are a bit rough around the edges, but serve the purpose.

Also try Coconut Coast Villas right in Cruz Bay. Our rental agency recommended this place for a couple of nights since our we are staying longer than a week and our villa will not be ready.
