For those of you who may have discounted Sunset Ridge Villas in the past because of the lack of A/C, we’ve finally done it. As of April 19, 2014 the Homeowners Association of Sunset Ridge Villas has voted to install air conditioning in the master suites of all 6 units at Sunset Ridge Villas.

After almost 20 years of relying on the eastern trades to cool the two building 6-unit interval ownership site atop Sunset Ridge, we’ve decided to let some cool happen. In keeping with our policy of slow, steady and sustainable improvements to the property, the owners at Sunset Ridge have decided to continue installing air conditioning in the master suites. They will be optional use, high efficiency units available for a small additional fee to both owners and renters. This will make SRV a little more pleasant in the low season months when some of us consider STJ at its’ best. Having the units fee based and optional keeps their operation off our maintenance fees and rental prices.

Based on how well they are accepted and used, we may, in the future, look at installing them in the main buildings also.
