On US/BVI's, where is the alsolute best snorkeling as far as clarity, visibility, current and variety of ocean life?

Any place with the fewest people, and if you swim slowly and quietly (breath slowly, and no flipper flappin') and you will see infinately more. You will also see more near rocks and coral. The Indians is pretty awesome, but you can find stuff everywhere. I highly recommend Pam Gaffin's "St. John, Feet, Fins and Four Wheel Drive. She gives a beach by beach guide and she used to be a snorke guide.

Slow and quiet is great. Also, try just hovering over a rock or coral area. As you continue to observe you will be amazed at the variety of lovely things to see.
