These are the subject headings that look to be gibberish, but actually are how Chinese characters are represented on the computer. I see that the most recent one has been removed. I am curious why they pop up here so often. There are a few forums that I frequent and I honestly can't recall ever seeing a single one anywhere else. How do they find their way here?

I always thought it was Martian! 😉 Keep trying to answer with "Klaatu barada nikto."

And to all you old sci-fi fans, Merry Christmas!

I am ROTFLMAO!!!

Thanks 4 the blast from the past!!!

To Nick: Those are spams to the message board, trying to sell products, I think. Unfortunately, in the wrong language! Don't visit any of the links, because things like that sometimes lead to worm or virus infections on the computer.

I wasn't curious about what they are. I know what they are. What I was curious about is why they pop up here so regularly. There are a few forums that I frequent and I've never seen one of these posts anywhere except here. What's the lure of this particular forum?

Hello Nick,

They are spam postings generated by a spam software. So not an actual person posting them. The software collects message boards or guestbooks by searching the internet perhaps for some similar thing. Then the board is added to their list and when their spam robot is running it automatically generates posts on the message boards.
