good morning, afternoon, evening to you....
well, i did it. and i love it, i am thinking that maybe i will never leave, at least leave for good. so, my truck is scheduled to arrive in stt on saturday, ready to be picked up monday morning. my reason for the post is car insurance. i don't think that my stateside insurance will work here (please correct me if i am mistaken) so i will be needing to find car insurance on stt come monday, before i make my way to the DMV. i know that there have been numerous previous posts regarding this subject, but a search did not prove very helpful to me...and i am hoping that some of you out there will tell me who/where/what/when about getting reasonable car insurance here on stt.

Welcome to St. Thomas. I suggest you post this over on the Relocation Message Boards. You are more likely to get an accurate response over there. Our vehicles are insured with Marshall & Sterling, but we are on St. Croix. Good luck!
Theodore Tunick & Co. 776-7000. Have used them for years and no problems at all. Hope this helps.
I insure my vehicle with Topa Ins. Ask for Ms Lake she treats me well. The equired insurance is very low coverage and hard to get higher limits.
