Its getting closer now until we depart. I called the Inner Island Ferry Service to check their scehdule time for running to JVD, which is F S S 830A-220P so were thinking about maybe spending the night over their and coming back next morning. Anyone familiar with JVD recommend a place?
Six days for us - and counting! Absolutely positively can't wait!!!!
Only day tripped to JVD, so can't help with accomodations. We're planning a day trip this time - will hit the typical spots: Foxy's, Soggy Dollar, Ivan's, Bubbly Pool etc. It's a beautiful island and definitley worth the trip.
Well we rented a boat with captain last year from Nauti Nymph and didnt get much accomplished that day. We went to Foxys and had lunch and one too many drinks, then we went over to White Bay and loved it there. This time I think were going to just take the ferry bc its alot cheaper and we can go at our own pace.
We have our own captain, so we'll be able to go where we want. I think we're going to go for a 2-day rental this time (2nd day at a discounted rate). There's so much to see, you really do need more than one day.
