Hello All,
well it's almost that time, my countdown that started at 364 is now down to 5 days. We are so excited, Jost for a week and then St. John for another week. I have one question that I need answered.
We are taking a 2pm Sunday ferry to Jost out of St. Thomas (Red Hook) and I can't remember if there is a grocery store relatively close to the Red Hook ferry dock that we could walk to get some staples and then get on the ferry or would we need to take a cab?! And is it open on Sunday? Can anyone give me some direction on this?
Thanks, Jill

Jill,
If a rum damaged memory serves me correctly there is a store across the street from the marina. The name escapes me but I would be shocked if it weren't open in high season on the weekends.

There is a small (by U.S. standards) supermarket almost directly across the street from the ferry dock. Walk toward Red Hook and you will find it right behind a real estate office. Fairly well stocked, should be able to find anything you need. Enjoy the islands.
