Have any of the major US cellular providers with service available on St Thomas started to provide high speed data beyond 3G? I notice on the AT&T coverage map that Puerto Rico shows a large portion of the island receiving HSPA+ now. I was hopeful that might spread over to St Thomas at some point soon.
Last year I tried using a sprint card on the south shore which failed miserably. I'm leaning towards a AT&T 3G/4G data device this time around as it seems the island has nice AT&T 3G coverage now. Any feedback, suggestions, opinions are welcomed.
I'll be in St Thomas again in the fall for the 3rd straight year ... and I can't wait!
Thanks!
Perhaps you need/want the coverage for your work but I have to ask...why do you visit the VI and still need the connection to everything else?
Personally I need the decompression the VI provides.
I am not being critical just curious. 🙂

I don't blame you for asking, I need to vpn in on Friday mornings for about an hour other than that I'm in pool and enjoying the island.
