Yes, we had our wedding on STT last March and fell in love with STJ. Honestly, we just like to visit the beaches, shop at the little shops, and go to Woody's.

Waterguy's recomendation is great. We are staying at Allesandra in November. We visited this villa last year and found it to be just about perfect. After 14 trips to STJ we know what we want: sunset views from a villa with a private pool on the same level as the kitchen. The pictures on the web site tell that story pretty well.

Cheers, RickG

Hi Vacationer - below are a couple of resources we have used over the years. Battery Hill & Gallows Point have some cute places near downtown too. Enjoy!

Rick or Waterguy

Is Allesandra on Rock Ridge Road about 1/3 of the way up?

Not far passed the switch back
I think that was one of the place we wanted to check out

Here again we were real partial to Solaris! It was just such a well set up living space with privacy for all
and great community space. And pool that was AMAZING

Pictures of Solaris: http://www.digitalimageonline.ca/puddlepiratesgallery/thumbnails.php?album=17

I am a big supporter for units in that location because they are:
high enough for great view
close to town
nice breezes
and quiet

We never had to turn the AC on - so it was just the animals at night
However there is one rooster that needs to get a better watch on that road 🙂

There are tons of options out there... you may be able to narrow it down a bit with a search : http://www.villafish.com
Do you need A/C in bedrooms? Pool? WiFi? Sooooo many options... and this if far enough in advance that you can get exactly what you want~

VACATIONER - where did you get married? We're thinking about SJT for next summer and currently considering a package at the Rtiz. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

We rented the villa Paradise Found and Cottage as well as a villa in Mahogany Run for our photographer. There was one more but I can't remember the name it was on Peterborg as well (STT). Our officiant was the famous Stu Scott and we were married on LimeTree Beach (Bluebeard's or Blackbeards) can't remember. We did a sunset sail with New Horizons for dinner and had a party back at the house with DJ Eric Scott (I think) ISLAND BLISS WEDDINGS was our planner and she is amazing. Her name is Janelle.

Also, we had a safari bus shuttle everyone around. Driver was a blast. We had a cake made by Franks I believe and our flowers were done there also. A lot of our pics on on the island bliss weddings website.

Our party is staying at Island Horizons villa for the first time in October. Great location, Coral Bay- nice and quite, and unusually cost effective. As far as other 3 bedroom places that we've stayed in; Lyons' Pride, Plumeria, and Serenity. All were beautiful, and (I'm not sure what the new name is- new owners) Lyons' Pride had some of the best views I've seen. They were a little steep in price, but wonderful, all the same. Lots to choose from!
Smiles-

We just stayed at Ti Moune in Point Rendevous. It's a five star villa that's obviously much loved and cared for by it's owners and very reasonably priced. We booked it thru www.caribbeanvilla.com.

Also stayed a couple of nights on St Thomas at At Home In The Tropics and it get five stars from our group as well.
