They had an article in our local paper this morning advertising 25-cent room rates at participating hotel. You have to book the room with your flight through bookit.com and it is for a maximum of 3 nights and includes a $25 dining credit and a $25 activities credit. Participating hotels are: Bolongo Bay, Carambola, Hibiscus, Hotel Caravelle, Mariot Frenchman's Reef, Morningstar, Secret Harbor, The Palms at Pelican Cove, Windward Passage and the Wyndham. Trips must be booked before November 2 and travel must take place before November 15th.
Thought this was a great deal and that I would pass it on.

This is a awesome deal. Except I wish there were the same deals for on St.John and I would book today. Well, maybe future deals.
I think that the Today show is going to have coverage for this promotion. Matt Laur announced "coming up an unbelievable affordable vacation for just 25-cents a night." I think that this will help the USVI economy to get positve exposure from network television.
Yes it was on the Today's show this morning, I saw it myself. Other then the .25 a night there are fee's and tax's I think something about having to book through bookit.com...I wish I could take advantage of this incredible offer but the timing is all off for me.
You can find full details on the USVI Department of Tourism website: http://visitusvi.com/package_and_promotions.

I called about this. It is a great deal, considering how much airfare can be. The only thing is I would want to stay more then 3 days. That's when it gets more expensive, so, we'll just have to wait to next April.
Oh I didn't catch that you could only get the .25/ night for 3 nights then back to regular nightly pricing. Oh that is not worth it for only 3 days giving the high airfare. By the 3rd. day were just getting into the swing of things. Well, bummer for us. Hopefully the Westin or Caneel Bay will follow suit and I will re-consider.
Actually, I was quoted 436.00. This was last week, so it may have gone up, but that was with airfare.
Considering we paid 750.00 per ticket in May of 2008, it's a good deal.
