I'm 75% packed and pretty much ready to go. Wondering how I'm going to get one large piece of luggage and 2 other pieces intoa Jeep Wrangler. Daughter had one, so I know space is limited.
Really looking forward to it!
Bet I packed too much. Husband even said he was bringing a long pair of pants....I said "No Way!". Dress shorts would be fine. He actually packs more then I do, but still I know that I've brought too much.
Anyway, intend to keep a log of our trip and post when we get back on June 8th.
Hoping for great weather!!
You probably did pack to much and remember to save some room for all the duty free stuff you want to bring back with you. Those suitcases have to be carried in the hot sun up and down stairs when you return your rental car if you rent at the STT airport. You also have to carry them through the customs line on your way back home. My husband packed his dress pants and never needed them.
I'm going home tonight and repacking. It's just so hard not to take your "special" clothes with you. To tell the truth, I brought 3 skirts, 5 pairs of shorts, 4 bathing suits and I have no idea how many tops.
I always over-pack, but I do recommend taking one pair of jeans. Sometimes it's nice to have them when it gets cooler at night...and they help keep the bugs from biting at your legs. Since I find that plane flights are often cold, I wear a pair of jeans for the flight so I have them for the trip...and then change at the airport when I arrive in STT.
I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time 🙂
Thats funny, my hubby makes me (quotation marks) carry my luggage. I noticed I stopped packing as much and rewearing on vacation to the point that we went to vegas for a week and I packed a carry on! Okay!!!!! The first time I had several. Now the man packs more than me and I sit and LAAAAghhhh when I watch him heaving his luggage around. Yipes maybe I shouldn't post this sorry babe you know its true....
