i wanted to know how much does it cost to get from the airport in st. thomas to the westin in st. john (taxi, ferry. etc)?

Think that the Westin, if you use their ferry, is $95 pp. If you use public ferry, you have the taxi to the ferry in Charlotte Amalie (think it's $4) or Red Hook ($10 ), the ferry, ( $12 from CA and $5 from Red Hook ) and then the taxi from the ferry dock in Cruz Bay to the Westin ($5). The fares are per person if traveling with 2 or more. They are more if you are alone. You can check the taxi and ferry fares at this site as I my memory isn't that good anymore. There is a charge for bags on the ferry - think it's $2 per bag and the taxi drivers do charge per bag too - sometimes!
The advantage to the direct service is that you check in at the airport and the next time you handle your bags is in your room to unpack and their boat goes directly to the Westin dock. It includes unlimited trips to STT too.
