Hi Everyone, I am so glad that i found this site!

I am going to St. Thomas June 11 with my boyfriend for the first time ever and I as well am counting down everyday (23!!), until i leave. I had just a couple of questions if anyone knows the answers?-
The only thing i am wondering is does it rain a lot in the USVI and if so is it true that it does not last very long if it does rain often? I just don't want to be rained out in paradise!!

Also...i want to go snorkeling, or try Snuba-ing which i read about, does anyone know if there are Sharks that i would come across often? I am petrified of a shark attack happening even though i know chances are rare but still i tend to worry.

Anyone advice would be very helpful!! Thanks guys!!
OMG SOOOO Excited!!!

The last time someone was attacked by a shark was 1971, and they ended up catching the shark and found that it had been hit by a boat propeller and that the cut had gotten infected and the infection traveled to it's brain, which is what drove it to the location of the attack and proabably prompted the attack. Nothing lke Florida, where they have shark bites/sitings on a weekly basis. Also, the weather here is unlike Florida in that when it does rain, it is usually only for 20 minutes or so, then the sun is back out...usually with rainbows! Gotta love being in the path of the tradewinds! Disregard any weather reports that you see that say rain or showers...they say it every day! No need to worry about being a rainy day unless the chance of rain is 60% or higher. Any lower and it will most likely be a sunny day, with passing showers, as usual.
