16c is only 60 degrees. That's not right either.

Yes it's bloody cold here on STT too. Word is that snow is around the corner after that nasty Nor'Easter took a downward turn and I saw several folks at Western Auto today buying snow tires and snow chains. Hate it when that happens ....

Dammit! And I just broke my snow shovel over the weekend when I was moving the snowblower in the shed!

FI: Nothing happening on Cassis Hill as of a couple of hours ago and surely you remember that the snow plows rusted out several years ago after someone in the Maintenance Department at DPW failed to realize they needed oil to function. As far as I know they're still in the bush somewhere in Bordeaux along with a mass of other equipment which died over the years from lack of basic maintenance.

Good to know that the temp on STJ has risen back up - seems a tad warmer here so maybe I'll shut off the central heating for now. But I'll keep my electric blanket close by just in case ...

Amen to that! Lexington Kentucky here - and we've got a beautiful sheen of ICE over the entire yard, house, driveway, roads, trees, etc (which you can probably tell I HATE!!!).

Can't wait til February when we make our annual retreat to our safe-haven of USVI - STT/STJ!
