I'm so excited! I just booked last night for my 26th trip to STT!
I got a great deal through Sunfinder.com. $942/per person for 11 days. That includes airfare, hotel and transfers.
If anyone wants particulars, they can email me directly.
I hope there will be a get-together during our stay. We will be there 10/27 - 11/6.

Holiday Inn Windward Passage. I realize a lot of people do not think much of this hotel, but our group loves to stay there. It's close to everything and has a free shuttle to Magen's every day. It's clean, we have a good relationship with the hotel staff and it feels like home!

Doris-
I know plenty of people who go often and stay at that hotel. I've never stayed there, but it's nice to know that they have a good deals going and the people who stay there have had good things to say about it. Have you figured out how much you're paying for the hotel, per night (based on subtracting the typical airfare rate from your city?). Just curious....

It sounds like a good deal and that free shuttle to Megans means you can save more $ from taxis....

Good deal. Have fun and please give us a report when you return.

Hi Doris,
The wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn last Thanksgiving weekend. You're so right about this hotel, clean and great location. We even had breakfast there one day and it was surprisingly good too! Our room was close to the pool which was a bonus. We would stay there again if/when we go back to STT. We will be on STX the week before you get to STT.

Bluewater,
I booked through Southerland on STX. It was $89/night + taxes and a $30 fee because I booked the hotel only, no flight.

Hi BluWater!
I'll try to do a report when returning, but I am not very good at that sort of thing. I really appreciate all the information I get from this board, even though I have been so many times there is still so much going on...or nothing at all. Sometimes that is the way I like it, since all year long I have so much to do between work and home!
I'm in Baltimore, so the least expensive airfare I have seen at the moment has been around $400. It seems to be a pretty good deal for 11 days.

Melanie:
Where are you staying? We are usually at the Greenhouse at night.
Maybe we can meet for a drink. There will probably be around 8 of us.

We are going to be at Bluebeard's Beach Club but we love to stop in at the Greenhouse. A drink would be fun. There will be 4 of us.

Melanie:
Sounds good. We will most likely be there on the 27th for Happy Hour. We will probably just arrive around 4 or so. I'm sure we'll be there no later than 5:30. Of course, I'm sure we will be there on Friday for P'Your Passion...if they are still playing on Friday nights.
