We just returned from a 10 day trip to St. Thomas. This was our second time to the island. We were much more prepared for this trip than the last. I want to thank the Islander and Candace for all their helpful information from dining, to full day sail trips, to accomodation questions. You both were so generous with information and kind enough to answer my many, many questions.

We had fabulous meals almost every evening we were on St. Thomas. Martin, the waiter, at MARISOL'S was absolutely wonderful! We had such a great meal at Marisol's and the atmosphere was lovely. Our 5 year-old fell asleep right before the appetizers were served. Martin set up a small loveseat (plastic outdoor furniture type) next to our table. He covered it with pillows and a clean tablecloth. He did this so that we would not have to take turns holding her while we ate our meal. Also, we were a large group (12) and it was a special occasion. I prearranged a cake (for two birthdays and a 20th anniversary) to follow the meal. Mango Cheesecake...talk about heaven! It was the best cheesecake we have ever tasted, and we're partial to New York Cheesecake! Additionally, another super restaurant for dinner is The BLUE MOON. Again, the meal was out-of-this-world! The staff was very accomodating and prepared to serve our large group (15 people that evening). The drinks and desserts were equally as good as the main course. It was our second time at Blue Moon, we ate there two years ago while vacationing on ST. Thomas. Our next trip will include yet another evening dining at Blue Moon. THE BANANA TREE GRILLE was also one of our favorites. We plan to return to this restaurant on our next trip. The service there was great. We had a nice, relaxing meal. Unfortunately, we did not get to eat at Craig and Sally's, though we heard we missed out on a good meal! We had to cancel that evening's reservation because we decided to extend our trip to St. John. We ate at THE LIME INN. This is a must if you're staying or visiting St. John. Reservations are a must except for Wednesdays. That's the night we were there for dinner. Since we were there EARLY they seated our large group first. That was a meal we won't soon forget! We all ordered different meals, but next time we all plan to order the lobster. My brother-in-law enjoyed every bite of his!
