One month, one week, and one day until my first VI trip!! I want so bad to start packing now! but I know that I would seriously overpack if I do that haha. Got at least another 10 lbs to lose also 🙂 I'll be really starving myself from here on out!

Anybody else going to be on STT the same time??

4 days behind you ! I feel your anticipation. We have our packing list all made , to do list bought the skin so soft , got our bathing suit bods in order . Time seems to be going soooo slow, but no worries, I know it will be here an over before I know it. Maybe I can just get time to stand still a few years while we are there 😀

I love the countdown that you guys have...How do you do that? We have just about 2 mos to go. Meeting with best friend this week to figure out the food that we'll take. Waiting on the passports.

Waterguy - you're also lucky! I know you have the next trip planned, and you know they'll be another, and another...

I can only hope that this won't be my only trip to the VI's!!

My sister and I are planning a trip with just us girls for 2008, can't decide yet whether to do one of those 5-star all-inclusive resorts somewhere, or take a road less traveled. Pros and cons to both, but I'm checking out STJ and Jost while I'm down there (STT) to see if its something we'd like to do instead of the resort thing. Just wondering about how safe it would be for a couple broads to travel alone and not stay on a resort. Especially if its a cottage like on Jost. I think I'll have to post that question sometime in the future and get everyone's expert opinion on that!haha! 🙂

I'm so excited for you and you have been making me remember how excited i was anticipating my own first trip to the VI. It's all just as wonderful as you've imagined and as I spent the day on Cinnamon Bay I just kept saying to myself, "I can't believe we're really here!"

I can't WAIT for your trip report!

I, too, am on the countdown. We leave April 14th - 32 more days and we will arrive on the island. I have been reading your (and everyone else) comments and cannot wait to get to St. John. My husband and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. I am so excited about this trip...I'm scared I have set my expectations too high and hope that I am not disappointed.

Marlene - congrats on your 25th anniversary! will this be your first visit to the VI's? (as is ours?) I am getting so excited about it, but I know I'll not be disappointed! We'll be getting there on the 19th. Where are you staying? My excitement must've rubbed off at work, because a co-worker decided to go to STT in June for their 30th! She even made the reservations at Secret Harbour (which is where we're staying). I hope I haven't steered her wrong!

5 more weeks! I'd like to lose another 10 lbs, but that's not likely, I'll settle for 5! 🙂

First time to the island. You will be arriving when we are leaving. We are staying at Caneel Bay. We (mostly "I") are so excited. We live in Georgia and have a little place on the "Chattahochee" (Lake Harding) which is where we usually spend most of the time during the summer. So, needless to say, we love the water. I have been wanting to visit St. John for many years...it is finally almost here.
