Travel between the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands is international; you are required to clear customs and immigration on both sides of the trip, and there are port fees and departure taxes.

They include USVI Port Fee $10, BVI Environment Fee $10 and BVI Departure Tax $20 ($15 BVI resident). These fees are subject to change by their respective governmental authorities; they are not regulated by the ferry operators. When purchasing ferry tickets, take note of which port fees and government taxes, if any, are included in your ticket purchase.
