Keep trying St John Inn - you will get them - as far as the ferry's go they leave on the hour, so a 7am will have you to Cruz Bay by 7:20am or so, but...

That is correct - restroom and showers at Trunk close at 4pm (actually they start cleaning and shutting down alittle earlier than that about 3:45ish)
